St. Mary's City, MD- The St. Mary's College Volleyball team (6-8) hit the court as they hosted Trinity Washington at the Michael P. O'Brien Athletics and Recreation Center Arena. St. Mary's defeated Trinity in three sets making this the Seahawk's third straight win.

The first set started off tight between the two competitors. At a score of 3-3 the Seahawks decided to turn it up. It all started with a kill from Arielle Lubeck (Virginia Beach, VA), which was followed by two service aces by Camilla Galeano (Germantown, MD). Ellie Matthews (Hollywood, MD) and Grace Caudell (Hagerstown, MD) also added to the list of kills as the Seahawks took off in front of Trinity 18-8. The Seahawks prevented Trinity from advancing into the double-digits on the scoreboard with a final score of 25-9.

Alayna Sievert (Lusby, MD) started the second set off strong with a service ace for the Seahawks. The Seahawks notched a series of kills from Julia Bobrowski (California, MD), Meghan Stevens (Westminster, MD), and Grace Caudell. The Seahawks went on a nine-point scoring streak to seal the second set win 25-8.

The third and final set began with a four-point scoring streak. Jillian Zukley (Severna Park, MD) notched a kill as the Seahawks advanced to 9-3. Lauren Panageotou (Baltimore, MD) collected five service aces that helped create a ten-point gap between St. Mary's and Trinity. The Seahawks took the third and final set 25-7.
