Down 22-19 in set two, the Seahawks scored five straight points thanks to four Maya Mauro kills to jump back out in front, 24-22. Ellie Matthews recorded the set clinching point as the Seahawks entered set three tied at one following a 25-23 victory.Â
-
After a back and forth start to set three, the Seahawks finally gained control following a dominant sequence from Maya Mauro. Leading 18-16, Mauro proceeded to record five points off of four kills and two service aces as St. Mary's went on a 6-0 run. The Seahawks took set three 25-17 and jumped out to a 2-1 lead in the match.Â

That momentum shifting moment finally came at the end of the set, as the Seahawks scored the final five points of the contest to take the set 25-19. The Seahawks were able to capitalize on a collection of critical Gator errors in the set to clinch the match and punch their ticket to the United East Conference Semifinals.Â
