St. Mary's, MD-- The St. Mary's College of Maryland Women's Basketball Team (2-2) concluded the Jamie L. Roberts Memorial Tournaments with a matchup against Wesleyan College (1-1). The Seahawks fell to the Cardinals, 88-78. 

How It Happened

• Sam Blaylock scored the first six points of the game for St. Mary's off of back to back three pointers. The Seahawks trailed 11-6 midway through the quarter. 

• Keira Mason added four points of her own and Sam Blaylock knocked down yet another three, but St. Mary's still found themselves trailing 22-16 after the opening quarter. 

• Tramarie Mobray and Sam Blaylock combined for the first eight Seahawk points of the second quarter. Wesleyan continued their strong offensive output. They led 35-24 five minutes into the second quarter. 

• St. Mary's closed out the half doing most of their damage from the free throw line. Wesleyan led 44-35 going into the last 20 minutes of action. 

• The Seahawks had four different point scorers to begin the second half, but still struggled to chip away at the Cardinal lead. 

• Sam Blaylock added two three pointers and Samantha Miller added one of her own to help boost the Seahawk offense to the end of the third quarter. St. Mary's still found themselves trailing by double digits. 

• Keira Mason went off for eight straight points to begin the fourth quarter and was book ended by two Sam Blaylock three pointers to trim the Wesleyan lead to 11. 

• Samantha Miller scored the final five points of the game for the Seahawks as they fell to the Cardinals by 10, 88-78.

Inside the Box Score

• Sam Blaylock shot a resounding 8-11 from behind the arc and finished with 34 points. 

• Keira Mason chipped in 18 points and corralled seven rebounds. 

• Samantha Miller finished with 12 points including two three pointers.
