St. Mary's City, MD – The St. Mary's College of Maryland Women's Tennis Team (2-4) welcomed the Seagulls of Salisbury University (9-2) for a midweek non-conference tennis match. The Seahawks fell, 9-0

How It Happened:

Doubles

• Giselle Harris and Ellie Walter fell in the number one singles match by a score of 8-2.

• Lauren Lovejoy and Blessing Samuel competed in the number two doubles match, falling 8-0.

• Ayden Daniel and Tessa Hansen dropped the number three doubles contest, 8-2.

Singles 

• Cleopatra Solomon dropped the number one singles match in two sets. 

• Amber Manspeaker fell in two sets of the number two singles match, both by a score of 6-0.  

• Giselle Harris lost to her Seagull opponent 6-0 in both sets of the number three singles match. 

• Ellie Walter dropped the first set of the number four singles contest 6-1 and the second 6-0. 

• Lauren Lovejoy was defeated in the number five singles match. Lovejoy dropped both sets 6-0.
