St. Mary's City, MD – The St. Mary's College of Maryland Women's Tennis Team (3-4) traveled to Clarks Summit University for a United East Conference Matchup. The Seahawks earned a 9-0 victory. 

How It Happened:

Doubles

• Giselle Harris and Ellie Walter earned a 8-2 victory in the number one doubles match.

• Lauren Lovejoy and Blessing Samuel competed in the number two doubles match, winning 8-0.

• Ayden Daniel and Melak Armstrong came out victorious in the number three doubles contest, 8-1

Singles 

• Giselle Harris earned a hard fought victory in the number one singles match, winning in a third set tie breaker, 15-13.

• Ellie Walter came out on top with a 6-0, 6-0 win in the number two singles contest.

• Lauren Lovejoy defeated her opponent 6-4, 6-0 to secure a win in the number three singles match.

• Melak Armstrong kept the Seahawk winning ways going with a 6-0, 6-1 win in the number four singles match.

• Blessing Samuel picked up an impressive 6-1, 6-0 win in the number five singles match.

• Ayden Daniel competed in the number six singles match and won in convincing fashion, earning a 6-1 victory in the first and a 6-0 win in the second set.
