St. Mary's City, MD – The St. Mary's College of Maryland Women's Tennis Team (7-4) hosted United East Conference Foe Penn State Harrisburg for a Wednesday Clash. The Seahawks fell to the Nittany Lions 8-1.

Cleopatra Solomon fell in a hard fought three set match in the number one singles contest. Solomon dropped the first set 6-4, fought back to win the second set 7-5, and ultimately fell in a third set tiebreaker, 10-6.

Amber Manspeaker dropped both sets of the number two singles match 6-0.

Emily Shioutakon got the Seahawks on the board with a dramatic three set victory in the number three singles match. Shioutakon fell 7-5 in the first set, but picked up a victory in the second set by a score of 6-4, as well as the third by a score of 6-3.

Giselle Harris dropped the number four singles contest in two sets, falling in the first 6-0 and the second 6-1.

Ellie Walter represented the Seahawks in the number five singles match and fell in two sets. Walter dropped the first set 6-4 and the second 6-1.

Lauren Lovejoy Fell 6-3, 6-0 in the number six singles contest.
