St. Mary's City, MD – The St. Mary's College of Maryland Women's Tennis Team (8-4) wrapped up the regular season with a United East Conference Match with the Nittany Lions of Penn State Abington. The Seahawks came out on top, 9-0.

How It Happened:

Doubles

• Amber Manspeaker and Lauren Lovejoy came out on top in the number one singles contest, 8-0.

• Ellie Walter and Giselle Harris competed in the number two doubles match, winning 8-3.

• Blessing Samuel and Melak Armstrong defeated their opponent 8-2 in the number three singles contest.

Singles 

•  Amber Manspeaker earned a 6-1, 6-3 victory in the number one singles contest.

• Giselle Harris picked up a 6-2, 6-0 victory in the number two singles match.

• Ellie Water kept the momentum going with a triumphant 6-2, 6-3 win in the number three singles contest.

• Lauren Loveoy blanked her opponent 6-0 in two sets for a victory in the number four singles match.

• Melak Armstrong pulled through in a hard fought, three set victory in the number five singles spot. Armstrong won the first set 7-6, dropped the second 6-0, but earned the win in a 12-10 tiebreaker. 

• Blessing Samuel concluded things with a 6-0, 6-1 win in the number six contest.
