Aston, PA-- The St. Mary's College of Maryland Baseball Team (10-18) concluded their regular season with a visit to Aston, Pennsylvania with a matchup with the Neumann Knights (15-20). The Seahawks fell to the Knights, 17-7.

How It Happened

• The Knights scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the first. 

• The Seahawks evened up the score in the top of the second with a Corey Brown RBI.

• Neumann scored seven runs combined across the bottom of the second and third. 

• In three consecutive at bats, Layne Lesko hit an RBI single, Dominant Turner recorded a, RBI sac fly, and Derrick Booker knocked in a RBI double to make it a 8-4 ball game. 

• The lead was trimmed to just two in the top of the fifth after another Corey Bown RBI, this time it being an RBI double.

• The Seahawks trimmed the Knight lead to just one in the top of the sixth after a Cole Tarleton double scored Chase O'Dell from first base.

• The Knight scored nine runs in the bottom of the sixth and held on to win 17-7.

Inside the Box Score

• Chase O'Dell finished with three hits.

• Corey Brown had two RBI's.

• Jack Overton, Austin Ferreira, Nick Russo, Graham Houck, Michael Roeder, and Colin Patterson all made appearances on the mound for St. Mary's.
