BALTIMORE, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's soccer team dropped their second straight game Wednesday night (Sept. 11). St. Mary's College (1-3-1) fell 2-0 at Johns Hopkins University (3-2), who is ranked seventh in this week's United Soccer Coaches Region V poll.

How It Happened

  • Less than seven minutes into the second half, the Blue Jays finally broke through as Francis Meyer put one past Eckman for a 1-0 lead at 51:31.
  • Johns Hopkins continued to pepper the Seahawk defense with shots and doubled its lead in the 78th minute when Aidan Dunphy found Jason Pan.
  • All four of SMCM's second half shots came in the final 11 minutes of the game, including a pair of on frame shots by sophomore forward Franco Reyes (Silver Spring, Md./Montgomery Blair) in the last two minutes.
