ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's soccer team wrapped up the Seahawk Classic Sunday afternoon (Sept. 8). St. Mary's College (1-2-1) dropped a 3-0 decision to Dickinson College (4-0-0) as the Red Devils captured the Seahawk Classic trophy.
How It Happened
- The Seahawks came out of the gate attacking right away, testing Aidan George and the Dickinson defensive line with four shots (two on goal) and four corner kicks.
- Nicholas Dwamena launched a shot from just inside the 50-yard line to give the Red Devils a 1-0 lead in the 30th minute.
- Dickinson doubled its lead in the 41st minute when Timi Omoniwa put in a loose ball just inside the near post.
- SMCM began the second half by peppering George with four shots (two on target) in the first 10 minutes.
- The Red Devils stretched their advantage to 3-0 at 63:45 as Saul Iwowo assisted on Luke Beiles' second goal of the season.
- St. Mary's College continued battling but were unable to put one past George and Gavin Marr.

- Sophomore midfielder Braden Kindred (Olney, Md./Sherwood) paced SMCM with four shots (two on goal) while sophomore forward Franco Reyes (Silver Spring, Md./Montgomery Blair) added three (two on goal).
- Sophomore Zack Reed (Leonardtown, Md./Leonardtown) made two saves in his first start of the season.
Dickinson
- George finished the game with four stops in 69:28 minutes while Marr notched one save in the final 20:32.
