Seahawks Men’s Soccer Remains Undefeated in United East Play

LA PLUME, Pa. – Junior forward Sam Santos (Columbia, Md./Oakland Mills) tallied a career-best five points in leading the St. Mary's College of Maryland men's soccer team to their fifth United East Conference victory Saturday afternoon (Oct. 11). St. Mary's College (8-5-1, 5-0-0 UEC) extended its win streak to five with a 3-1 triumph over Keystone College (2-10-0, 0-4-0 UEC) in the teams' first-ever meeting.

How It Happened

  • Keystone avoided the shutout in the 76th minute when Lenskey Raoul put away a loose ball into the right side of the goal.
  • Nelson added an insurance marker minutes later at 80:07 as Santos and sophomore midfielder Zach Blaum (Richmond, Va./Atlee) both assisted on the play.
