WASHINGTON, D.C. – Sophomore
James Crimaudo (Riva, Md./South River) paced the St. Mary's College of Maryland men's basketball team with 17 points Wednesday afternoon (Nov. 26) in an exhibition game at NCAA Division I Howard University. The game, which doesn't count towards St. Mary's College's overall record, ended in a 115-61 victory for Howard (4-4).
How It Happened
- Howard opened the game with a 24-0 run before first-year forward Evan Quintero (Fallston, Md./Gilman) made one of two free throws at 14:19 for the Seahawks' first point of the game.
- Quintero's free throw sparked a 14-2 run over the next four minutes as SMCM trimmed the deficit to 26-15. Crimaudo knocked down a pair of triples to fuel the run while Quintero threw down a dunk and handed out a pair of dimes.
- The Bison rolled into halftime with a 63-37 halftime advantage as the hosts shot 61.1-percent from the field to St. Mary's College's 29.6-field goal percentage.
- HU continued its dominance in the second half, stretching its lead to 56 points with 2:25 left in the game as Howard posted a 63.6-field goal percentage in the second half.

- The Bison outrebounded the Seahawks, 47-29, while tallying 68 points from the paint.
