Selinsgrove, Pa. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's indoor track and field team travelled to Selinsgrove, Pa. for the SU Invite hosted by Susquehanna University.  The Seahawks competed against both Division II and III fields.
 
How It Happened:

• Dami Akinsanya led four Seahawks in the 200 meter dash in 29.32 setting a personal record.  Chloe Tolson followed after in 29.81 setting a personal best. Grace Hountangni and Kayla Thomas rounded out the top four with 35.41 and 36.92 respectively, both earning personal records.
• Three Seahawks competed in the 400 meter event led by Mileah Cotton earning 21^st in a tough field with a time of 1:07.42. Dina Jones and Grace Hountangni followed after earning times of 1:16.85 and 1:26.18 respectively.
• Ariana Lecouras led four Seahawks in the 800 meter run.  Lecouras finished in 2:50.40.  Dina Jones and Ellie Geiger finished in the top three Seahawks in 2:58.57 and 3:05.87 respectively. Geiger set a personal best.
• Ariana Lecouras led three Seahawks in the 1 Mile with a time of 6:20.31. Ellie Geiger followed after in a time of 6:47.87.  Alexis Hodges rounded out the Seahawks in a time of 7:23.25. Geiger and Hodges both set new personal bests.
• Two Seahawks competed in the 3000 meter run.  Ella Mitchell finished in 14^th with a time of 11:54.25 setting a personal best. Madison Kingsley followed after in a time of 12:27.66 earning 21^st finish.
• The Women's Distance Medley Relay squad of Mileah Cotton, Chloe Tolson, Madison Kingsley, and Macy Woroniecki earned a 2^nd place finish with a time of 14:14.46
• Chay'La Rivers set a personal best for the Women's Indoor Long Jump with a distance of 4.61 meters on the first jump of three.
• Two Seahawks competed in the Triple Jump.  Rocksann Smith finished with a jump of 9.81 meters. Chay'La Rivers finished with 8.96m
• Three Seahawks placed in the Shot Put event, led by 2^nd place finish Jillian Zukley with a throw of 12.09 meters. Zukley set both a St. Mary's school record and personal record. Selina Sosa and Jessica Satz earned 6.40m and 6.29m
• Jillian Zukley led the Seahawks in the Weight Throw with a throw of 13.17 meters. Rounding out the top three Seahawks are Safi Stimely and Selina Sosa earning 7.85m and 7.66m respectively.
