Glassboro, N.J. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's outdoor track and field team travelled to Glassboro, N.J. to compete at the Oscar Moore Invitational hosted by Rowan University. The Seahawks competed against Division I, II, and III teams alongside unattached track clubs.
How It Happened:
- The 100-meter dash prelims saw two Seahawks compete and earn personal bests. Tramarie Mobray finished in a time of 13.83. Saffiyah Gibson followed just behind in a time of 13.91.
- Avery Arizzi led two Seahawks in the 200-meter dash in a finish of 28.03 in 15th place. Earning a personal record was Dami Akinsanya following behind in 28.95.
- Two Seahawks competed in the 400-meter event led by Chloe Tolson in 16th with a time of 1:11.28. Ji-Young Hartman finished in a time of 1:14.01.
- The 800-meter run saw Mileah Cotton with a time of 2:26.22 for a personal best.
- Mileah Cotton earned a time of 5:06.68 in the 1500m. Macy Woroniecki finished after in a time of 5:16.39.
- The Shot Put event for the three Seahawks was led by 6th place finish Jillian Zukley with a throw of 10.91m. Halimah Hajhassan threw for 7.35m. Fladaina Bruno rounded out the Seahawks with a throw of 6.40m
- Jillian Zukley led the way for the Seahawks in the Discus Throw, earning a distance of 28.20m. Safi Stimely followed after with a throw of 23.02m.
