St. Mary's City, MD-- The St. Mary's College of Maryland Baseball Team (10-13) hosted the nationally ranked Seagulls of Salisbury University (28-7) in an eight inning contest. The Seahawks fell in the game, 10-0. 

How It Happened

• Salisbury scored three runs in the top of the first inning. 

• Trevor Smith and Cole Tarleton bath managed to record a hit over the first four innings. Smith knocked a single in the bottom of the second, while Tarleton connected on a double in the fourth. 

• Salisbury scored four more runs in the top of the fifth. 

• Trevor Smith recorded his second single of the game in the bottom of the seventh, but Salsibury recorded three more runs over the last two innings to take the game 10-0.

Inside the Box Score

• Trevor Smith led the way with two hits. 

• Ryan Matthews pitched four innings and gave up seven earned runs, while striking out four. Matthews faced 22 batters.  Willie Nelson, Nick Russo, and Logan Connolly all made appearances on the bump as well.
