LANGHORNE, Pa. – Fifteen different Seahawks found the back of the net Tuesday afternoon as the St. Mary's College of Maryland men's lacrosse team returned to the win column. St. Mary's College (7-4, 2-0 UEC) posted a 24-1 United East Conference road win over Cairn University (0-9, 0-2 UEC) for its seventh win of the season.
How It Happened
- The Seahawks rattled off 19 in a row and never looked back in establishing a 19-0 lead with 3:41 remaining in the third quarter.
- Adain Holliday helped Cairn avoid the shutout loss with an unassisted goal with 2:43 left in the third.

- SMCM outshot the Highlanders, 80-4 (59-2 on goal).
- St. Mary's College posted a +30-turnover margin (9-39) as the Seahawk defense forced 15 of Cairn's 39 miscues.
- The Seahawks dominated ground balls by a 57-22 margin.

- First-year attackman Owen Wynot (Kent Island, Md./Kent Island) tallied the first points of his career with a four-goal, one-assist performance to lead St. Mary's College.
- Junior Matteo Ciccarello (Crofton, Md./Arundel) scooped up his 300th career ground ball as Ciccarello picked up a game-best 13 loose balls. He now has 310 ground balls to his name.
- Ciccarello also went 13-for-14 at face-off X.
- First-year defenseman Cole Kleger (Audubon, Pa./Methacton) led the defensive effort with the first statistics of his career, collecting six ground balls and four caused turnovers.

- Nico Cione was tremendous in goal for the Highlanders as Cione made 35 saves in the game.
