LANCASTER, Pa. — The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's basketball team remained undefeated in United East play Saturday afternoon, earning a 77–48 road victory over Lancaster Bible College at the Horst Athletic Center.
The Seahawks (12-5, 6-0 United East) controlled the game from the opening tip, building a 24–10 first-quarter lead and extending the margin to 45–18 by halftime. St. Mary's never trailed and led by as many as 32 points in the second half.
Keira Mason led all scorers with 23 points, shooting 11-of-18 from the field while pulling down a game-high 13 rebounds for her double-double performance. Olivia Liszt added 13 points, connecting on 5-of-9 shots, including two three-pointers, while also recording three steals.
Samantha Blaylock provided a spark off the bench with 11 points, knocking down three three-pointers, and Saffiyah Gibson chipped in eight points, four assists, and three rebounds. Tramarie Mobray contributed across the stat sheet with six points, nine rebounds, and five assists.
St. Mary's shot 46.4 percent from the field and held Lancaster Bible to 34.0 percent shooting. The Seahawks finished with a 44–28 rebounding advantage, scored 36 points in the paint, and totaled 20 fast-break points. St. Mary's bench accounted for 53 points in the victory.
Lancaster Bible (7-12, 5-2 United East) was led by Isabella Eufemia, who scored 16 points, while Emily Wilson added 11 points.
St. Mary's will return to action on Tuesday, January 20th when the Seahawks [hosts Salisbury to take a break from United East play.
