Women’s Basketball Dominates Keystone, 92–28, in United East Action

ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. — The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's basketball team turned in a dominant performance on Saturday afternoon, rolling to a 92–28 United East Conference victory over Keystone College at the Michael P. O'Brien Athletics & Recreation Center Arena.

The Seahawks (15-5, 8-0 United East) jumped out to a commanding lead early, outscoring Keystone 30–11 in the opening quarter and holding the Giants to just four points in the second period to take a 61–15 advantage into halftime. St. Mary's maintained control throughout the second half, allowing no more than eight points in any quarter.

Keira Mason led all scorers with 20 points, shooting 9-of-11 from the field and a perfect 2-of-2 at the free-throw line, while adding a game-high 10 rebounds for her double-double. Olivia Liszt followed with 17 points, connecting on 7-of-14 shots and 1-of-4 from three-point range, while also recording five rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

Sidney Shaw added 16 points on 3-of-5 shooting, while Skylar Woodyard chipped in 13 points, knocking down 6-of-9 shots from the floor. Sam Blaylock contributed 13 points off the bench, including a three-pointer, and Rayna Miller finished with 14 points and four rebounds.

St. Mary's shot 55.4 percent from the field and forced 37 turnovers, converting those into 28 points off turnovers. The Seahawks also controlled the glass, holding a 41–28 rebounding advantage, and totaled 40 points in the paint.

Keystone (4-18, 3-8 United East) was led by Jayda Price, who scored five points, as the Giants were held to 22.4 percent shooting for the game.

St. Mary's will return to action as United East play continues on Monday February 2nd where they will host Penn State Harrisburg.
