COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's indoor track & field team registered eight personal records and two season-bests at the Frank Colden Invitational hosted by Ursinus College Saturday (Feb. 7).
 
How It Happened

• First-year Lacey Schleig (Baltimore, Md./Sparrows Point) placed fourth in the preliminaries of the 60m hurdles in 9.97 before coming in seventh in the finals in 10.06.
• Sophomore Rocksann Smith (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore City College) took seventh in the preliminaries of the 60m dash in 8.28 before finishing eighth in the finals in 8.38. Smith also came in eighth in the preliminaries of the 60m hurdles in 10.06, qualifying for the finals as well.
• First-year Molly Hieatzman (Sykesville, Md./Century) claimed an eighth-place finish in the 5000m run with a personal record 22:54.59.
• Sophomore Ella Mitchell (Towson, Md./Bryn Mawr) went 11th in the 3000m run with a personal record 11:32.27. Mitchell also clocked a personal record in the 800m run with 2:40.75 for 16th overall.
• Junior Jillian Zukley (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) notched a 12th-place finish in the shot put with 10.95m while senior Fladaïna Bruno (Columbia, Md./Oaklan Mills) tallied a season-best 8.37m for 35th place. In addition, sophomore Jessica Satz (Silver Spring, Md./JFK) posted a personal record of 7.79m for 39th.
• First-year Elle Wilson (Westminster, Md./Westminster) led five Seahawks in the mile run with a 6:13.12 for 19th overall while junior Madison Kingsley (White Hall, Md./North Harford) posted a season-best 6:27.55 for 29th. Additionally, junior Ellie Geiger (California, Md./Leonardtown) collected a personal record of 6:39.39 for 33rd overall.
• Smith added a 19th-place finish in the weight throw with a personal record of 11.25m while first-year Breanna Brown (Arnold, Md./Broadneck) notched a PR of 9.88m for 28th place.
• Schleig picked up a PR of 29.81 in the 200m dash for 34th place.
