3/21/2026 9:23:00 PM

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Junior Kelsie Miller (Rockville, Md./Winston Churchill) wrapped up her third consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III Women's Swimming & Diving Championships with three solid performances, including setting the school and Atlantic East Conference record in the 200-yard butterfly.

The 2026 NCAA Championships were held March 18-21 at the Indiana University Natatorium in Indianapolis.

Miller qualified for her third straight NCAA after achieving a B standard of 54.66 (the sixth-fastest time in Division III) in the 100-yard butterfly at the 2026 Atlantic East Women's Swimming & Diving Championships as she defended her 100-butterfly title for a third year in a row.

As an NCAA qualifier, Miller also had the opportunity to compete in two other events of her choice. She competed in the 200-yard butterfly (42nd-fastest time) and the 100-yard freestyle (55th-fastest time).

Miller clocked a 55.71 in the preliminaries of the 100-butterfly Thursday morning (Mar. 19), finishing fifth in her heat and 20th overall. Her 20th-place finish is her best finish in the 100-butterfly thus far as she came in 21st as a first-year and 27th as a sophomore.

She then posted a school and league record time of 2:05.10 in the preliminaries of the 200-butterfly Friday morning (Mar. 20) to win her heat and finish 22nd overall. Miller took down her own conference record of 2:06.89 set on Feb. 18, 2024 while breaking the 15-year-old school record of 2:05.52 set by Hall of Famer Kelly Heyde '13 on Feb. 20, 2011.

Her 22nd-place finish in the 200-butterfly was a nine-spot improvement from last year's 31st-place finish.

In her final event of the week, Miller notched a 52.74 in the preliminaries of the 100-freestyle Saturday morning (Mar. 21) to tie for second in her heat and tie for 58th overall, shaving 2.1 seconds off her seed time of 54.84. Her previous finishes included 33rd place in 2024 and 56th place as a sophomore.
