Gavin McKay (Urbana, Md./Urbana) put up a career-high five goals in leading St. Mary's College (4-2) to a 20-5 non-conference win over SUNY Maritime College (2-2).
How It Happened
- After the two sides traded the first two goals of the game, the Seahawks rattled off 12 straight goals to stake a 13-1 lead with 9:56 to go in the third quarter.
- Maritime tallied two of the next three to trim the deficit to 14-3 heading into the fourth period.
- SMCM outscored the Privateers, 6-2, in the final stanza, including the game on a 4-0 run behind two goals from junior midfielder Luke Maciarello (Salisbury, Md./Parkside) and two assists from first-year attackman Jaxson Zapoli (Prince Frederick, Md./Calvert).

- Senior captain Adam Martin (Kent Island, Md./Kent Island) led the defense with three caused turnovers and three ground balls while senior defenseman Joe Szymanski (Easton, Md./Easton) scooped seven loose balls.
- Sophomore goalie Ty Spencer (Hanover, Md./Indian Creek) made six saves and had one ground balls.
