CARLISLE, Pa. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's lacrosse team faced their second straight nationally-ranked opponent Saturday afternoon (April 11). St. Mary's College (8-6) dropped an 11-5 decision at No. 13 Dickinson College (11-2).
How It Happened
- Dickinson headed into the fourth quarter with a 7-1 lead. The Seahawks' lone goal came with 6:25 left in the first period.
- First-year attackman Brady Manankil (Hereford, Md./Hereford) snapped the Red Devils' five-goal run with an unassisted tally at 12:45 of the fourth frame. The hosts responded with three unanswered goals to stake a 10-2 advantage with 9:02 remaining in the game.
- SMCM outscored the Red Devils the rest of the game, 3-1, as junior attackman Quinn McLaughlin (Fallston, Md./Fallston) provided a goal and an assist.
