Winchester, Va. - Senior captain Kenny Nugent (Pocomoke, Md./Pocomoke) and freshman Kyle Feeley (Baltimore, Md./Mount Saint Joseph) did not drop a single game in leading the St. Mary's College of Maryland men's tennis team to an impressive 8-1 win over Shenandoah University Friday afternoon.

Nugent defeated freshman Ethan Lawrence (Nokesville, Va./Brentsville) 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles, while Feeley followed suit with the same score at No. 5 singles over sophomore Nathan McDowell (Bath, N.Y./Haverling).

Senior Drew Barnes (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) notched his fourth straight win as Barnes only dropped two games in a 6-0, 6-2 victory over junior Peter Baggan (Stafford, Va./Brooke Point) in No. 6 singles action. 

St. Mary's will return to action on Columbus Day as the Seahawks travel to Selinsgrove, Pa. to square off against Susquehanna University at 3:30 pm.  Monday's match will be the final match of the fall portion of St. Mary's schedule.
