Salisbury, Md. – Junior attacker Lacey Brown (Monkton, Md./Hereford) paced the St. Mary's College of Maryland women's lacrosse team at No. 13 Salisbury University with two goals Saturday afternoon. However, an eight-goal surge by Salisbury in the second half setback the Seahawks, 13-5, in Capital Athletic Conference action on the road.

How It Happened
- St. Mary's struck first as senior midfielder Erika Kopf (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) scored an unassisted goal at 23:48.
- The Sea Gulls then rattled off three straight to take a two-goal lead at 14:21 before L. Brown pulled the visitors within one, converting a free position shot at 11:52.
- A pair of Salisbury goals sandwiched senior captain Abbey Harrison's (Easton, Md./Easton) free position goal at 9:59. The hosts headed into the break with a 5-3 advantage as three different Sea Gulls tallied a goal and an assist in the half.
- The Seahawks once again notched the first goal of the half as senior captain Meg Gesner (Severna Park, Md./Severn) finished off a Kopf feed for her team-leading 24th goal of the season less than three minutes into the start of the second stanza, closing the gap to 5-4.
- Salisbury responded by going on a 5-0 run to bolster its lead to 10-4 with 14 minutes left in the game.
- L. Brown notched an unassisted goal for St. Mary's final score of the game as the Sea Gulls finished the game by scoring the final three goals.

- First-year midfielder Kate Bartholomew (Galena, Md./Kent County) grabbed six of the Seahawks' seven draw controls.
- Sophomore midfielder Caitlin Katchmar (Phoenix, Md./Hereford) continued her strong play with a career- and team-best two caused turnovers.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Emma Brown (Warwick, N.Y./Warwick Valley) finished the afternoon with nine saves and a team-best three ground balls.
- St. Mary's was 2-of-6 in free position shots.
