York, Pa. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's tennis team (8-9, 2-5 CAC) lost 6-3 in a Capital Athletic Conference matchup with the Spartans of York College of Pennsylvania (2-8, 1-4 CAC) on Sunday morning. Today's match is the Seahawks' regular-season finale.

Doubles
- Junior captain Kyle Van Winter (Scaggsville, Md./Good Counsel) and first-year Ron Stith (Cheltenham, Md./Lackey) were the only Seahawks' doubles team to pick up a win, defeating Lukas Olson and Joel Hess, 8-5, at No. 3 doubles.
Singles
- Junior captain James Loftis (Annapolis, Md./Saint Andrews [Del.]) notched the team's second point with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Olson at No. 4 singles.
- First-year Jack Brandenburg (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) would close out his regular season with a 6-4, 7-6 (5) win over Sam Price at No. 5 singles.
The Seahawks would unfortunately be knocked out of the CAC playoffs with this loss. St. Mary's does not graduate anyone from the current roster and will look to bounce back strong for the 2017-18 school year.
