Hilton Head Island, S.C. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's tennis team (3-4) finished their Spring Break trip Thursday afternoon with a 9-0 non-conference loss to Millikin University at the PTR Spring TennisFest.

How It Happened
Doubles:
- St. Mary's won only one game in doubles action as sophomores Jon Gorel (Jessup, Md./Hammond) and Ron Stith (Cheltenham, Md./Lackey) suffered an 8-1 loss at No. 1 doubles.
Singles:
- Gorel lost a close match to Jacob Palley, Millikin's top player, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3).
- Senior captain Kyle Van Winter (Scaggsville, Md./Counsel) was the lone Seahawk to force a third set as Van Winter lost 6-1, 1-6, 8-10 to Logan Bennett at No. 5 singles.
