Salisbury, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's tennis team (4-6, 1-2 CAC) headed across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on Friday to face Salisbury University (9-3, 2-0 CAC) in Capital Athletic Conference action. Salisbury, who is 13th in the Atlantic South region, remained unbeaten in conference play with a 9-0 win.

How It Happened
Doubles:
- Salisbury dropped only three games in sweeping all three doubles matches by identical scores of 8-1.
Singles:
- Sophomore Jon Gorel (Jessup, Md./Hammond) pushed Stefan Hein at No. 1 singles, taking seven games before falling 3-6, 4-6.
- Senior captain James Loftis (Annapolis, Md./Saint Andrews [Del.]) took William Niessner to three sets but ultimately dropped a 1-6, 6-4, 6-10 decision.
