FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's tennis team played its first CAC conference meet of the year on Friday (Mar. 22) afternoon as it's match with Southern Virginia was moved to the University of Mary Washington due to rain.
St. Mary's - 1, Southern Virginia– 8
Doubles-
- Ron Stith and Sam Sheats put up a strong fight in the number two doubles spot and would take three points from Paul Monson and Ben Spencer but dropped their match 8-3.
Singles –
- Jack Brandenburg took the lone point for the Seahawks as he defeated the Knights Zachary Bowers with a score of 7-6, 6-3.
