ASHLAND, Va. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's tennis team (3-1, 0-0 CAC) opened  its Spring season Saturday afternoon (Feb. 22) as they traveled to take on the Yellow Jackets of Randolph-Macon College (1-0, 0-0 ODAC) but would fall with a score of 8-1.

St. Mary's College - 1, Randolph Macon - 8

Doubles –

• Sam Sheats and Liam Pratt took three games from Alex Hein and Erik Moulton but ultimately fell 8-3. 

Singles –

• Jack Brandenburg took home the lone point for the Seahawks as he won his match 1-6,7-6,10-7 against the Yellow Jackets Jack Ferner.
