Huntingdon Valley, PA -- The St. Mary's College of Maryland Men's Cross Country team traveled to Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania for the United East Conference Championships. The Seahawks ran an 8k race and placed second in the conference with 80 points. Only the Morrisville State Mustangs finished higher. St. Mary's had Michael Wade and Quentin Pastore finish in the top 15.Â

The top five Seahawk performers today were Michael Wade, Quentin Pastore, Peyton Eppard, Kelly Byrne and Nathan Sayers.
Michael Wade crossed the finish line with the second fastest time across the entire field. Wade ran the 8k course in 28:01. Second to cross the finish line for the Seahawks was Quentin Pastore who took home 13th place and finished the race in 30:14. Peyton Eppard placed in the top 20 with a time of 30:59. Rounding out the top five for the Seahawks was Kelly Byrne and Nathan Sayers. Byrne finished in 22nd place with a time of 31:30. Nathan Sayers crossed the finish line two seconds later to claim 23rd place.Â
There were 66 total runners for the men's race.
