ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – Senior attackman Jude Brown (Bel Air, Md./The John Carroll School) earned preseason recognition from Inside Lacrosse Tuesday morning with a spot on the 2022 IL Division III Preseason All-America Honorable Mention list.
 
Brown is the lone United East Conference representative as 2022 marks St. Mary's College's first season as a member of the United East.
 
Last season, Brown garnered All-Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference Second Team honors after leading the Seahawks with 20 assists and 40 points. The 5-9 attackman was also third on the team with 20 goals. He added a fifth-best 21 ground balls as well.
 
Brown, as a sophomore, was selected to the 2020 Maverik Division III Media All-America Team after notching 17 goals and 31 assists in a COVID-shortened season.
 
Brown and the rest of his fellow Seahawks will kick off their 2022 campaign on Saturday, February 12, with a neutral site game against Guildford College at 2:00 p.m. The game will be played at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy in Suffolk, Va.
