Box Score Middletown, PA. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland Men's Tennis team traveled to Middletown, Pennsylvania to take on the Nittany Lions of Penn State Harrisburg for a United East Conference match. The Seahawks took down the Nittany Lions 8 to 1.

Doubles

The Seahawks won all three of their doubles matches.

The pair of Boris Palmade and Stephen Alam fought hard in the number one doubles spot. While the score initially went back and forth, the Seahawks defeated the Nittany Lions 8-6.

Nick Rohr and Daoud Alkhalidi took down their opponents in the number two doubles spot, scoring 8-3.

Keawe Johnson and Liam Pratt finished off the doubles in the number three spot winning 8-3.
Singles

Boris Palmade shut out his opponent in the number one singles spot, winning both sets 6-0.

Stephen Alam continued his winning streak in the number two singles spot winning 6-0 and 6-4.

Nick Rohr fought hard in the number three singles spot. After winning his first set 6-3, his opponent came back hard. Rohr lost the second set 6-4 but bounced back quickly in the tie-breaking set. Rohr won the third set 10-2.

Keawe Johnson won his first set in the number four singles spot 6-0. However, his opponent won the next two sets and defeated Johnson in three sets.

Daoud Alkhalidi took the number five singles spot with ease, winning 6-3 and 6-1.

Max Esztergomi finished off the win for the Seahawks in the number six singles spot in two sets: 6-1, 6-0.

The Seahawks will be back in action on Saturday, April 22nd for a United East Conference match-up against Penn State Abington. The Seahawks will travel to Abington, Pennsylvania to compete with the Nittany Lions at 1:00 pm.
