Media, Pa. -- St. Mary's College of Maryland men's cross country competed at the Penn State Brandywine Invitational with strong performances. The Seahawks continued their season with an 8K race taking 2
nd for a team finish.

The top five Seahawk performers were
Jack Kuta (Leonardtown, Md./ Leonardtown)
, Peyton Eppard (North Potomac, Md./ T.S. Wootton),
Nate Norris (Owings, Md./ Northern)
, Owen Swisdak (Sykesville, Md./ Century)
, and
Daniel Ake (Laurel, Md./ Reservoir)
.
Kuta crossed the line in 6
th place overall with a time of 31:38. Eppard finished with an 8
th place and a time of 32:20. Norris followed after, taking 12
th in 33:49. Closing in behind was Swisdak and Ake with 17
th at 34:44 and 19
th at 35:39 respectively to round out the top five of the Seahawks.
There were 47 runners in the field for the men's race.
