Hughesville, Md. -- St. Mary's College of Maryland men's cross country hosted the 2024 United East Conference Championship. The Seahawks took home 2^nd out of 11 teams, running an 8K race.
 
Top Performers 
The top five Seahawk performers today were Michael Wade (Woodstock, Md./ Marriotts Ridge), Pierson Hogue (Ellicott City, Md./ Mount Hebron), Jack Kuta (Leonardtown, Md./ Leonardtown), Peyton Eppard (North Potomac, Md./ T.S. Wootton), and Brenden Lane (Frederick, Md./ Tuscarora).
 
Wade crossed the line in 3^rd place overall with a time of 27:32. Hogue finished with an 8^th place and a time of 29:00. Kuta followed after, taking 15^th in 29:48. Closing in behind was Eppard and Lane with 20^th at 30:14 and 22^nd at 30:42 respectively to round out the top five of the Seahawks.
 
There were 99 runners in the field for the men's race.
