St. Mary's City, MD – The St. Mary's College of Maryland Men's Tennis Team (2-5) began United East Conference Play with a matchup with Clarks Summit. The Seahawks picked up a 9-0 win. 

How It Happened:

Doubles

• Nick Rohr and Max Esztergomi earned a 8-1 win in the number one doubles match,

• Keawe Johnson and Daoud Alkhalidi competed in the number two doubles contest, winning 8-0. 

• Andrew Hand and Jack Hoehn represented the Seahawks in the number three singles match. Hand and Hoehn took home an 8-0 victory.

Singles 

• Nick Rohr won both sets 6-0 in the number one singles match.

• Max Esztergomi earned  6-0, 6-1 win in the number two singles contest.

• Keawe Johnson defeated his opponent 6-1, 6-0 in the number three singles match.

• Daoud Alkhalid earned a 6-0 victory in both sets to earn a victory in the number four singles contest.

• Michael Shively blanked his opponent  6-0 in both sets of the number five singles match

• David Gorel represented the Seahawks in the number six singles contest and won both sets 6-0.
