Hughesville, Md. -- The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's cross country team hosted the Seahawk Classic at Oak Ridge Park, competing in their second race of the season with teams from the Division III level. The Seahawks ran an 8K race and took home the 1st place finish as a team.

Michael Wade (Woodstock, Md./Marriotts Ridge)
, Brenden Lane (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora)
, Pierson Hogue (Ellicott City, Md./Mount Hebron)
, Peyton Eppard (North Potomac, Md./T.S. Wootton)
, and
Patton Harbourt (Gaithersburg, Md./T.S. Wootton).
Wade was the first Seahawk to cross the finish line and did so in 29:50, earning a 3rd place. Lane followed after, taking home 6th place with a time of 31:43. Houge finished close behind with a time of 32:09 taking 7th finish. Eppard and Harbourt rounded out the top five with 10th place with a time of 32:48 and 13
th finish at 33:40 respectively.
There were 66 runners in the field for the men's race.
