LATHAM, N.Y. – Junior Nicholas Haylock (Odenton, Md./Meade) of the St. Mary's College of Maryland men's indoor track & field team earned the United East Conference Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week award as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning (Feb. 18). This is Haylock's second weekly award this season.
 
Haylock recorded a personal best at the Susquehanna University Invite, finishing 16th in the 400m dash with a PR of 53.77 (52.93 converted), which ranks fifth in the United East. The 6-1 sprinter also placed 35th in the 200m dash in 24.59.
 
St. Mary's College will be idle until Friday, Feb. 28, when the Seahawks compete at the United East Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Prince George's County Sports and Learning Complex in Landover, Md. The meet is slated to start at 10:30 am.
