Box Score York, Pa. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's tennis team travelled to York, Pa. to take on York College of Pennsylvania. The Seahawks fell to the Spartans 4-3.
 
How It Happened:
Doubles

• Cleo Solomon (Waldorf, Md./ North Point) and Amber Manspeaker (Finksburg, Md./ Westminster) competed in the No. 1 position for the Seahawks. Solomon and Manspeaker fell 6-2.
• Sarah Levit (Rockville, Md./ Richard Montgomery) and Giselle Harris (Easton, Md./ Easton) finished their match with a win, 6-2.
• Lauren Lovejoy (Newburg, Md./ La Plata) and Stella Manns (White Hall, Md./North Harford) secured the doubles point with a win of 6-4 over the Spartans.

Singles 

• Cleo Solomon (Waldorf, Md./ North Point) won in two sets in the No. 1 singles match, winning both sets 6-2, 6-1.
• Amber Manspeaker (Finksburg, Md./ Westminster) competed in the No. 2 match, dropping the match in three close sets.  Manspeaker fell 6-4 in the first set, won 6-2 in the second, and dropped the third set 6-4.
• Sarah Levit (Rockville, Md./ Richard Montgomery) fell in three sets in the No. 3 match.  Beating the Spartans in the first set 6-4, then dropping the next two sets 6-0 and 6-1 respectively.
• Giselle Harris (Easton, Md./ Easton) in the No. 4 match dropped in two sets, 6-4, 6-3.
• Lauren Lovejoy (Newburg, Md./ La Plata) came up short in the No. 5 matchup, falling in three sets.  Lovejoy dropped the first 6-4, defeated the Spartans in the second set 6-2, ultimately falling in the third set 6-1.
• Zoe Wilson (Clarksburg, Md./ Academy of the Holy Cross) earned a win in the No. 6 position in two sets.  Wilson decisively beat the Spartans 6-1, 6-2.
