Box Score Hilton Head Island, S.C. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's tennis team is down at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina to take part in the PTR Spring Tennis Fest.  The Seahawks faced off against the Lynchburg Hornets on clay courts, falling 0-7.
 
How It Happened:
Doubles

• Nick Rohr (Fairfax County, Va./ James W. Robinson) and Jacob Nelson (Olney, Md./ Sherwood) competed in the No. 1 doubles match for the Seahawks. Rohr and Nelson fell in a close battle 7-6, after dropping the tiebreak 7-3.
• Andrew Hand (Huntingtown, Md./ Huntingtown) and Alex Lyman (Annapolis, Md./ Annapolis) fell to the Hornets in the No. 2 spot 6-2.
• The Seahawks No.3 double tandem featured Devon Gorel (Jessup, Md./ Hammond) and Hudson Christensen (Annapolis, Md./ St. Mary's). Gorel and Christensen dropped the match 6-0.

Singles 

• Nick Rohr (Fairfax County, Va./ James W. Robinson) lost the match in two sets in the No. 1 singles match, losing 6-1, 6-0.
• Jacob Nelson (Olney, Md./ Sherwood) competed in the No. 2 match, falling in two competitive  sets 6-4, 6-3.
• Andrew Hand (Huntingtown, Md./ Huntingtown) competed in the No. 3 spot, dropping both sets 6-0.
• Alex Lyman (Annapolis, Md./ Annapolis) fell in two sets in the No. 4 matchup, dropping both sets 6-2.
• Devon Gorel (Jessup, Md./ Hammond) lost both sets in action in the No. 5 match. Gorel fell to the Hornets 6-0 in both sets.
• Joey Carson (Sykesville, Md./ Century) concluded the singles matches for the Seahawks in the No. 6 spot, dropping the matchup 6-0, 6-1.
