Box Score Langhorne, Pa. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's tennis team travelled to Langhorne, Pa. to compete against Cairn University in a United East conference matchup, rescheduled from 4/5/2025. The Seahawks defeated the Highlanders in a 7-0 sweep. The win moves the Seahawks to 3-1 in conference play.
 
How It Happened:
Doubles

• Nick Rohr (Fairfax County, Va./ James W. Robinson) and Jacob Nelson (Olney, Md./ Sherwood) competed in the No. 1 doubles match for the Seahawks. Rohr and Nelson defeated the Highlanders 6-1.
• Max Esztergomi (Bethesda, Md./ Walt Whitman) and Hudson Christensen (Annapolis, Md./ St. Mary's) won in the No. 2 duo 6-2.
• The Seahawks No.3 double tandem featured Alex Lyman (Annapolis, Md./ Annapolis) and Joey Carson (Sykesville, Md./Century). Lyman and Carson won their match 6-0.

Singles 

• Nick Rohr (Fairfax County, Va./ James W. Robinson) won the match in two sets in the No. 1 singles match 6-0, 6-1.
• Max Esztergomi (Bethesda, Md./ Walt Whitman) competed in the No. 2 match, dominating the Highlanders 6-0 both sets.
• Jacob Nelson (Olney, Md./ Sherwood) competed in the No. 3 spot, winning in two sets against the Highlanders 6-0, 6-1.
• Alex Lyman (Annapolis, Md./ Annapolis) won in two sets in the No. 4 match 6-0, 6-1.
• Devon Gorel (Jessup, Md./ Hammond) won in action in the No. 5 spot. Gorel won in two sets 6-4, 6-1.
• Hudson Christensen (Annapolis, Md./ St. Mary's) concluded the sweep in the No. 6 spot, winning 6-0, 6-1.
