Box Score St. Mary's City, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's tennis team hosted Cedar Crest College for a rescheduled United East match from 4/12/2025.  The Seahawks dominated play against the Falcons for a clean 7-0 sweep.   The win moves the Seahawks to a 7-0 conference record on the season.
 
The Seahawks recognized their four seniors – Melak Armstrong (Ashton, Md./ Academy of the Holy Cross), Giselle Harris (Easton, Md./ Easton), Amber Manspeaker (Finksburg, Md./ Westminster), and Blessing Samuel (Glen Burnie, Md./ Old Mill Senior) – for their years of dedication and leadership.
 
How It Happened:
Doubles

• Cleo Solomon (Waldorf, Md./ North Point) and Amber Manspeaker (Finksburg, Md./ Westminster) competed in the No. 1 position for the Seahawks. Solomon and Manspeaker dominated play 6-0.
•  Giselle Harris (Easton, Md./ Easton) and Stella Manns (White Hall, Md./North Harford) won their match 6-3 in the No. 2 doubles duo against the Falcons.
• Blessing Samuel (Glen Burnie, Md./ Old Mill Senior) and Melak Armstrong (Ashton, Md./ Academy of the Holy Cross) concluded the doubles sweep in the No. 3 spot, winning 6-1.

Singles 

• Cleo Solomon (Waldorf, Md./ North Point) started off the Seahawks in the No. 1 singles match, controlling the play for the win 6-1, 6-0.
• Amber Manspeaker (Finksburg, Md./ Westminster) dominated in the No. 2 spot winning in two sets, 6-0 for both.
• Sarah Levit (Rockville, Md./Richard Montgomery) won in two sets in the No. 3 match. Levit defeated the falcons 6-1, 6-0.
• Giselle Harris (Easton, Md./ Easton) came out on top in the No. 4 matchup. Harris won in two sets, 6-3, 6-0.
• Lauren Lovejoy (Newburg, Md./ La Plata) competed in the No. 5 matchup, winning 6-1, 6-0.
• Zoe Wilson (Clarksburg, Md./ Academy of the Holy Cross) concluded the sweep in the No. 6 position in two sets.  Wilson defeated the Falcons in two sets, 6-0 for both.
