Box Score Abington, Pa. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's tennis team travelled to Abington, Pa. for another United East Conference match against Penn State Abington.  The Seahawks controlled play against the Lions, winning a clean 7-0.  The win moves the Seahawks to a perfect 5-0 in conference play.
 
How It Happened:
Doubles

• Cleo Solomon (Waldorf, Md./ North Point) and Amber Manspeaker (Finksburg, Md./ Westminster) competed in the No. 1 position for the Seahawks. Solomon and Manspeaker won in action with a score of 6-4.
•  Sarah Levit (Rockville, Md./Richard Montgomery) and Giselle Harris (Easton, Md./ Easton won their match 6-1 in the No. 2 doubles duo against the Lions.
• Lauren Lovejoy (Newburg, Md./ La Plata) and Stella Manns (White Hall, Md./North Harford) finished the doubles sweep in the No. 3 spot, winning 6-0.

Singles 

• Cleo Solomon (Waldorf, Md./ North Point) won the match in two sets in the No. 1 singles match. Solomon controlled play in the first set, winning 6-1. Solomon then rallied to win the second set 7-6 after a close tiebreak- Solomon won the tiebreak 7-5 after coming back from a 1-4 deficit.
• Amber Manspeaker (Finksburg, Md./ Westminster) competed in the No. 2 spot controlling the match in two sets, winning 6-1 for both sets.
• Sarah Levit (Rockville, Md./Richard Montgomery) won in two sets in the No. 3 match. Levit defeated the Lions 6-4, 6-3.
• Giselle Harris (Easton, Md./ Easton) in the No. 4 matchup came out on top. Harris won in two sets, 6-0, 6-1.
• Lauren Lovejoy (Newburg, Md./ La Plata) dominated in the No. 5 matchup, winning 6-0 in both sets.
• Zoe Wilson (Clarksburg, Md./ Academy of the Holy Cross) concluded the sweep in the No. 6 position in two sets.  Wilson defeated the Lions in two sets, 6-0 for both.
