Sophomore captain Marsalis Hurley (Cheltenham, Md./Frederick Douglass) and first-years James Foley (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis Area Christian) and Brendan Cavanagh (Centreville, Md./Queen Anne's County) contributed to the Seahawks' offensive by all tallying six points in the loss.

From the start of the game, it was all Sea Gulls with St. Mary's never leading in the game. Canary's second triple of the half pulled the Seahawks within two at 9:11 (13-11). Going into halftime, Salisbury ended on an 8-2 run for a 32-20 advantage at intermission.

Coming out of halftime, the Seahawks fought hard making a dent in the 12-point lead and closed the gap to eight points in the first six minutes. Salisbury went on a tear in the last 12 minutes, finishing the game on a 31-6 run.

Four Sea Gull starters scored in double digits with junior guard Justin Witmer (Gaithersburg, Md./Magruder) pouring in a game-high 15 points, five boards, two assists, and two blocks while Jeter finished up with a game-high nine rebounds, 14 points, and two assists.
