ASHLAND, Va. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's tennis team (1-3, 0-0 CAC) opened its Spring season Saturday afternoon (Feb. 22) as they traveled to take on the Yellow Jackets of Randolph-Macon College (1-0, 0-0 ODAC).

St. Mary's College - 0, Randolph Macon - 9

Doubles –

• Claire Bodine and Hallie Hershey captured six games from Randolph Macon's Morgan Fuqua and Avery Smith but dropped their match 8-6. 

Singles –

• Sydney Anderson lost a close matchup to the Yellow Jacket's Landon Aud 6-2,4-6, 6-10.
