Salisbury, MD -- The St. Mary's College of Maryland Women's Cross Country Team traveled to Salisbury, Maryland to participate in the Don Cathcart Invitational. The Seahawks ran a 6k race and finished in seventh place.
Top Performers
The top five Seahawk performers today were Brittney Douglas, Elizabeth Robey, Kaylee Holston, Avery Arizzi, and Weiya Carter.
Brittney Douglas had a stellar performance for the Seahawks, coming in 15th place and finishing the race in 24:38. Elizabeth Robey was the next runner to cross the finish line for St. Mary's. Robey earned 43rd place with a time of 26:27. Kaylee Holtson crossed the finish line shortly thereafter with a time of 26:53, coming in 47th place. Avery Arizzi made an appearance in the Seahawk top five, finishing in 51st place and completing the race in 27:06. Rounding out the Seahawks top five was Weiya Carter, who ran the race in 27:17, good enough for 56th place.
There were 103 total runners for the women's race.
