Fairfax, VA - The St. Mary's College of Maryland Men's Indoor Track and Field Team traveled to Fairfax, Virginia to compete in the Patriot Games hosted by George Mason University. Overall, three school records were broken and one was set.
How It Happened:

Junior Michael Wade started the Patriot Games off strong by breaking his previously held record in the 5000 meter run at 15:43.63.

The team of Kelly Byrne, Mason Layne, Nate Norris, and Jake Robey earned third place overall in the 4000 meter Distance Medley Relay.

First-year Aaron Morales set the school record for the 500 meter run with a time of 1:16.52. Jaedon Aso was close behind at 1:23.20. Ivan Obuekwe also competed in the event and earned a time of 1:25.64.

Emmanuel Douge earned 20th place overall in the 400 meter run with a time of 54.72.

Quentin Pastore smashed his school record for the 1000 meter run at 2:44.98.

Jake Robey earned sixth place overall and broke the school record for the 600 meter run with a time of 1:31.19. Behind him in seventh place was Zane Obi with a time of 1:35.37.

Zack Kralec earned ninth place overall in the Pole Vault at a height of 4.03 meters.

Zane Obi, Nate Norris, Jake Robey, and Mason Layne competed as a team in the 4 x 400 meter really and earned 14th place overall.

Dominant Turner placed 17th overall in the Long Jump at a distance of 5.51 meters.
