Hughesville, Md. -- St. Mary's College of Maryland women's cross country hosted the 2024 United East Conference Championship.  The Seahawks placed 1^st out of 13 teams, running a 6K race.
 
Top Performers 
The top five Seahawk performers today were Mileah Cotton (Smyrna, Del./Smyrna), Ella Mitchell (Baltimore, Md./ The Bryn Mawr School), Betsy Robey (Kensington, Md./ Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart), Ariana Lecouras (Severna Park, Md./ Severna Park), and Macy Woroniecki (Berlin Md./ Stephen Decatur).
 
Cotton crossed the line in 3rd place overall with a time of 24:30. Mitchell finished right behind with a 4th place finish and a time of 24:36. Robey followed close, taking 6th in 25:38. Closing in behind was Lecouras and Woroniecki with 8th at 26:26 and 9th at 26:32 respectively to round out the top five of the Seahawks.
 
There were 88 runners in the field for the women's race.
