HAMPTON, Va. – Senior captain Luke Schwenk (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) and first-year Harrison Greenwald (Reisterstown, Md.) both broke St. Mary's College of Maryland men's swimming program records Saturday (Nov. 23) at the Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by Randolph-Macon College at the Hampton, Virginia Aquaplex. St. Mary's College remained in fifth place in the seven-team field after garnering six Top 10 finishes to total 366 points.

Schwenk registered his third meet record of the weekend when he captured the 100-backstroke with a school record-breaking time of 47.95. Saturday's time shaves off three-hundredths of a second off Schwenk's previous record of 47.98 set at the NCAA Championships on March 22, 2024.

Greenwald broke the 13-year-old 400-individual medley record of 4:12.50 set by Thor Peterson '14 in the morning preliminaries, clocking a 4:12.25. He broke it again in the consolation finals when he swam a 4:10.13, dropping nearly two seconds in placing 10th.

Schwenk, sophomores Daniel Madigan (Waldorf, Md./North Point) and Qwada Moses (Bowie, Md./DeMatha Catholic), and sophomore Anthony Davis (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist) came in fifth in the 200-medley relay in 1:34.46.

The foursome of Greenwald, Madigan, sophomore CB Jurado (Odenton, Md./Arundel), and Davis posted a seventh-place finish in the 800-freestyle relay in 7:19.92.

Madigan notched a ninth-place finish in the 100-breaststroke in 59.32 while sophomore Luca Fairbank (Phoenix, Md./Dulaney) placed 15th in 1:02.29 and senior Sam Meisel (Chevy Chase, Md./Walter Johnson) took 22nd in 1:08.46.

Junior captain William Kendrick (Laurel, Md./DeMatha Catholic), Fairbank, sophomore Kyle Smith (Crofton, Md./Crofton), and Jurado went 1:39.07 in the 200-medley relay for 10th place.

Along with Schwenk, the Seahawks had three others score points in the 100-backstroke as Kendrick came in 14th in 55.58 followed by sophomore Thomas Brown (Clarksburg, Md./Clarksburg) in 20th (1:00.11) and junior Tony Lumezi (Towson, Md./Towson) in 22nd (1:00.70).

Smith finished 19th in the 100-butterfly in 54.35 followed by Moses in 20th in 54.63. Jurado led SMCM in the 200-freestyle with a 22nd-place finish in 1:52.20 while first-year Stephen Lepine (Rockville, Md.) took 24th in 1:54.18.
