HADDONFIELD, N.J. – Junior
Anthony Davis (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist) was once again selected as the Atlantic East Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon (Nov. 10). This marks Davis's third career, and second of the season, swimmer of the week honor.
St. Mary's College of Maryland men's swimming posted a dominating 174-79 non-conference win over Elizabethtown College (Nov. 8) as Davis led the way with four wins.
Davis began the meet by swimming the third leg of the victorious 200-medley relay (1:41.00). He then went on to capture the 200-freestyle (1:55.30), the 50-freestyle (22.41), and the 100-butterfly (55.65) events, leading a sweep in the 200-freestyle.
St. Mary's College (5-2) will return to action this Friday, Nov. 14, when the Seahawks travel to Fredericksburg, Va., to face University of Mary Washington (3-1) in non-conference action at 5 pm.
