Collegeville, PA - The St. Mary's College of Maryland Men's Indoor Track and Field Team traveled to Collegeville, Pennsylvania to compete at the Frank Colden Invitational. St. Mary's was one of six teams competing, including the host Ursinus College.
How It Happened:

Ty Tindal broke three school records throughout the meet. First, Tindall broke the school record in the 60 meter hurdles at 8.89. He also broke the school record for the Long Jump at 6.48 meters. His final record break of the day was for the Indoor Pentathlon, scoring 2935 points.

Collin Fitzgerald earned eighth overall in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.49. Emmanuel Douge (24.01), Mason Layne (24.45), and Jaedon Aso (26.94) also competed in this event.

Mason Layne placed 16th overall in the 400 meter run. Collin Fitzgerald (54.30), Emmanuel Douge (55.62), Zane Obi (57.53), and Ivan Obuekwe (1:01.98) also competed in this event.

Michael Wade placed second overall and broke the school record in the 1000 meter run with a time of 2:44.91. Bryce Webster was close behind in fourth place overall (3:02.40) and Markell Blake in fifth (3:08.92).

Quentin Pastore earned 11th place overall in the 1 mile run at 4:52.23.

Michael Wade placed fourth overall in the 3000 meter run at 9:04.60. Noah Fisher placed 16th overall at 10:29.07.

Zack Kralec placed second overall for the Pole Vault at 3.95 meters.

The quartet of Mason Layne, Emmanuel Douge, Collin Fitzgerald, and Dominant Turner broke the 4x200 relay school record with a time of 1:39.07.
